The House of Representatives today voted to repeal the controversial Affordable Care Act, dubbed “Obamacare”. This news has those on the right excited, but it’s not a done deal. The bill will still have to pass the Senate vote, which is far from a certainty, and President Obama will likely exercise his veto power even if the bill does make its way to his desk. (Obama, despite his statements on the campaign trail, has made it clear in the intervening years of his presidency that he has no qualms exerting and expanding his executive powers.)
